I haven’t been scrolling much at all this week, as I’ve been trying to unplug a bit while traveling in Europe for a couple of weeks — so today’s newsletter is made up of some recommendations pulled from the collection of tabs that has been ever-growing in my Google Chrome.
It’s a bit more sparse than usual, which might be the case for the next several weeks as I won’t be in my normal work routine — but I’ll still be sending this out nonetheless! The next few iterations just might not have as many recommendations.
Hope everyone is having a lovely holiday weekend!

Listen
The Journal Trillion Dollar Shot Series
The Wall Street Journal’s daily podcast, “The Journal” (which I low-key prefer to “The Daily” a lot of the time), ran a four-part series all about the rise of Ozempic and similar drugs that I found to be enlightening and informed. Listen above!
Carrie Jade Does Not Exist
This wasn’t my favorite true crime podcast, but it was a good listen for when I didn’t have any other shows to listen to. It centers on a woman in the UK who took on several different identities and infiltrated the lives of different communities. Listen to it above.
Julia Fox Interview
I’ll watch anything Julia Fox does, to be honest, but this hour-long interview with Zach Sang was especially great. You can watch it above or listen to it here.
Watch
Julis Louis-Dreyfus Goes Day Drinking with Seth Meyers for “Late Night”
This was obviously an amazing watch (that I got to a few weeks late). Dream duo!
Serena Williams on “Hot Ones”
An incredible episode that showcases Serena’s underrated sense of humor. I truly cannot wait for her new docu-series that premieres on ESPN+ this week!

Bravo’s Biggest Winners and Losers of 2024 — So Far!
Dylan Hafer, the host of Betches’ Bravo-focused podcast “Mention It All,” joined me on the show this week to share our biggest winners and losers of the year so far from Bravo — shows, stars, casting choices and more that have worked and not worked in 2024. Listen above!
The Who’s and Them’s of Bravo: Discussing The Bravo Fame Game
Bobby Finger and Lindsey Weber, the co-hosts of my favorite podcast “Who? Weekly,” also joined me on the show this week to zoom out and take a look at Bravo from more of an outside perspective: What does it mean to be famous on Bravo? Where do Bravo stars fit into the larger celebrity landscape? What should we be making of the ever-changing stakes around what it takes for stars to remain on their shows? It’s a fascinating conversation that I think you’ll all love. Listen above!

I’ve been in Puglia, Italy for a few days, and I’ll be here into next week! A friend and I are bopping around to a few of the towns here, and it’s been incredible so far. I’ve been posting way too many photos on my Instagram Stories, if you want to follow along…
