Martha Stewart hated the new Netflix documentary about her so much that she called the New York Times to vent about it for 30 minutes. The resulting article is just as funny as you’d imagine. This is why celebrity documentaries are better when the subjects don’t have creative control! (Brooks Barnes for The New York Times)
A few anonymous people involved in celebrity ghostwriting spill secrets on how that process really works. (Sophie Vershbow for Vulture)
Did you know that Sydney Sweeney agreed to be in “Madame Web” so that the studio would make “Anyone But You,” which turned out to be a much bigger hit? I loved this article that shared some key stats on how Sydney is masterfully navigating Hollywood. (Borys Kit for The Hollywood Reporter)
How “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” rescued Heather Gay. (Meredith Blake for The Los Angeles Times)
Andy Cohen touched on a few hot topics during a sit-down in London during HayU’s FanFest. (Ellise Shafer for Variety)

Countess Luann on “Table Manners”
OG “RHONY” star Luann de Lesseps showed up over an hour late for her appearance on “Table Manners,” the podcast hosted by the incredible British singer Jessie Ware and her mom, Lennie, and they were total troopers about it. In fact, they leaned into it. The resulting interview was a delightful, campy romp that was an absolute joy of a listen. Listen to it above!

Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words (Prime)
Megan is so damn courageous. This documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at her rise to fame and the tumult that she endured in the process. From her mom’s sudden passing to getting shot in the foot and subsequently being put through the ringer by misogynists who didn’t believe her story, Megan has shown incredible resilience as the world watches. All the while continuing to put out incredible art. This was a really emotional watch, and I couldn’t recommend it more.
Billy Eichner Revives “Billy on the Street” with Will Ferrell for Kamala Harris
The reboot I’ve been waiting for — and for cause I believe in? I was grinning ear-to-ear watching this.
“Martha” (Netflix)
I really liked the new Martha Stewart documentary, which was made by R.J. Cutler (“The September Issue”). It did a fantastic job outlining the early parts of her career in particular, and it brought nuance to her legal issues in the early 2000s. My biggest complaint about it is that it rushed through the period of her career after her stint in prison and wish they’d spent a little more time walking us through the last 20 years.

Happy to be spending another weekend in the city! Going to an engagement party, going to watch a friend of mine run the New York City Marathon on Sunday and I hope to jump into the new season of “The Diplomat” on Netflix, which came out yesterday (wish it was a week-to-week show, though).
