Read
This new profile of Sophie Turner is the must-read piece of the week. It’s rare that we get a celebrity profile that’s as juicy as this these days. (Chioma Nnadi for British Vogue)
Shout out to my brother Tucker for sending me this fascinating piece about the Knicks’ “Celebrity Row” at Madison Square Garden, who gets to sit there, how it all works — and which celebrities have fucked up and now have to pay for their tickets if they want to attend. (Michael McCarthy for )
If you’re at all confused by Sabrina Carpenter’s sudden surge in popularity, the ubiquity of her song “Espresso” or just want to read about the Song of the Summer, this hilarious (and informative!) piece is for you. (Alex Abad-Santos for Vox)
This in-depth piece about the co-founders of Betches, who recently sold the company, is really great. (Sapna Maheshwari for The New York Times)
For some reason, this 8-year-old article in which Nelly Furtado recounts the making of her seminal album Loose popped into my Twitter feed this week — but I had never read it, and it’s an awesome read full of some incredible anecdotes. (Anupa Mistry for The Fader)
Yearning for some light, positive coverage of Meghan Markle? I liked this (not totally fawning!) rundown of her style choices during her and Prince Harry’s trip to Nigeria. (Tom & Lorenzo)

The Curious History of Your Home
I’ve been enjoying this sweet and insightful podcast that dives deep into the history of common household objects. Each episode focuses on one thing like wallpaper or baths or forks, kind of like how one of my favorite podcasts “Articles of Interest” unearths the history of one type of clothing every episode. It’s quick and interesting, and you’ll walk away with a few fun facts to bring up at your next group dinner.
Watch
“Babes” (in theaters)
I went to an early screening of this movie, which was co-written by and co-stars “Broad City” alum Ilana Glazer, and it was a total delight. It does a solid job of balancing the comedic bits with the more poignant commentary on pregnancy and motherhood and female friendship, though there are some moments that don’t quite land. Ilana and Michelle Buteau have great chemistry as the leads in this, and they’re both just so fucking funny that it allows you to overlook some of the movie’s imperfections.
“Black Twitter: A People’s History” (Hulu)
This three-part docu-series directed by “Insecure” show-runner Prentice Penny traces the origins of Black Twitter, and its immense impact on Twitter itself, but also pop culture and politics and beyond. There’s an awesome array of talking heads that contribute to this one, which makes it an extra-fun watch.

Interview with Janet Caperna from “The Valley”
My interview with Janet from “The Valley” went live on Tuesday, and a clip from it posted to social media started quite the firestorm between Janet and Kristen Doute, her co-star that she’s feuding with on (and, I guess off, too) the show. You can see their back-and-forth over it here, but I also recommend the interview itself, which provided a lot more context from Janet’s perspective on what’s gone down this season. Watch it above or listen to it below!
Listener Mailbag: “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” “Vanderpump Rules,” “RHONJ” and More
Also answered a bunch of questions from my listeners for my monthly mailbag episode spanning a bunch of Bravo topics — and season 3 of “Selling The OC,” which I’ve been dying to discuss. Listen to that below!

I’m in Newport, Rhode Island this weekend for a friend from college’s wedding. It’s absolutely stunning here! Will be diving into new “Bridgerton” when I get back.
